Skoda Roomster Keyless Entry Problem
Summary of the thread
The keyless entry problem in a 2007 Skoda Roomster was likely caused by a low battery in the key fob, as indicated by a 'key battery low' warning. The suggested solution was to replace the key fob battery, which resolved the issue, restored keyless entry functionality, and cleared the error message.

Yeah, I'm getting a warning on the dash about the key battery. Is it just a simple battery replacement, or is there some special procedure involved?

Confirming that a 'key battery low' warning accompanied by non-functional keyless entry and error codes pretty much screams 'fob battery needs replacing'. I would advise you to book an appointment with your local, trusted, professional workshop. They will replace the battery, clear the error memory, and test the remote key fob for proper operation.

Just got back from replacing the battery in my key fob. Cost me 37€, but everything is working perfectly again! Keyless entry is back and the error is gone. So relieved it was something simple!

Sounds like a classic low battery issue in your key fob. I had a similar problem with my Roomster. Does the dashboard display a warning message when you start the car?
