Indeed, the oil pressure warning was the primary symptom. In my situation, no oil additives were required, but I would recommend a workshop visit to get an assessment. Engine damage can occur if the oil pressure is critically low.

The oil pressure warning lamp was triggered as a result. I had the oil and filter changed, and the system flushed. The total repair cost was 165€. I will certainly adhere to the maintenance schedule from now on to prevent further engine damage.
