Skoda Roomster Reduced Engine Power
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Skoda Roomster experienced reduced engine power, suspected to be due to a defective throttle valve. The issue was accompanied by a check engine light, suggesting a problem with the throttle position sensor or throttle body. After considering the possibility of an accelerator pedal module fault, the throttle body and sensor were replaced, resolving the issue.

Yes, the check engine light is on. Could the accelerator pedal module also cause this?

It could be the accelerator pedal module, but it's more likely the throttle body itself or the throttle sensor within it. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

Replacing the throttle body and sensor resolved the issue. The shop charged 265€ for the replacement.

Sounds like a faulty throttle position sensor. I had similar response delay and limp mode issues with my old Opel Corsa. Does the check engine light come on?
