Indeed, the fault code points towards the solar sensor. Is the G107 sunlight sensor synonymous with the solar sensor and the temperature sensor? Are there specific points to inspect on the cable or plug connection before considering replacement?

Yes, G107 is often referred to as the sunlight sensor or solar sensor. It relays temperature data to the HVAC system. Given the error and symptoms, a damaged connector is plausible. However, if integrity is confirmed, replacement might be the only viable option. Based on my experience with the same issue, replacement is generally the quickest path. I suggest consulting a workshop.

Sounds familiar. I've encountered similar HVAC sensor behavior in a Roomster. Have you checked the G107 sunlight sensor? It's a common culprit. Do you have VCDS for diagnostics?
