Skoda Roomster starting and stalling problems
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Skoda Roomster with starting and stalling issues, rough engine performance, and increased fuel consumption was diagnosed with a potential fuel pump problem. The check engine light was on, and error codes suggested a fuel pump issue, possibly due to a defective cable or plug connection. After a workshop visit, a loose connection at the fuel pump was identified and fixed, resolving the problem.

Where exactly is that connection located? Can I check it myself without special tools?

Could be the filter, but based on your description and the error code, it does sound like the pump or its wiring. The connection I was referring to is directly at the pump itself. It's accessible, but you'll need to get under the car. Honestly, if you're not comfortable with car mechanics, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. Fuel systems aren't something you want to mess with without experience.

Confirmed, a workshop visit revealed a loose connection at the pump. Cost 95€ and the car is running smoothly again. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like fuel starvation. I had similar symptoms with my Skoda Octavia, though it wasn't quite as bad. Check the fuel filter first, it's the easiest thing to eliminate.
