Skoda Roomster temperature issues and engine light

I'm having trouble with my 2009 Skoda Roomster with a gasoline engine, which has done 211969 km. The instrument cluster shows incorrect temperatures, and the check engine light is on. Also, the engine is taking much longer to warm up. I'm wondering if the cooling grille might be restricted because of a bad fuse. Has anyone else had this happen?

I had similar issues on my Roomster: weird temperatures on the instrument cluster, engine light, and slow warm-up. Did you check the radiator grille fuse? That fixed it for me.

Thanks for the advice. Can you give me more details on how you found the defective fuse? Did you use a multimeter, or did you just swap it out?

I used a multimeter and confirmed the fuse was dead. It's a common issue that affects engine cooling and thermal management. Replacing the fuse is easy, but I'd still suggest a workshop check.

The workshop confirmed the cooling grille was restricted due to a blown fuse. They replaced it, and the total cost was 52€. The Roomster is running perfectly now.
