Skoda Roomster Windshield Washer Heater Issue
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2011 Skoda Roomster involved a faulty windshield washer heater, causing the spray nozzles to freeze in cold temperatures. The suspected cause was a defective cable or plug connection, rather than clogged nozzles. The problem was confirmed by a garage, which identified a defective cable to the heating element as the cause, and the repair resolved the issue, ensuring proper function in freezing conditions.

Thanks for the quick reply. When you say similar, do you mean the windshield washer heater specifically? The spray nozzles were completely frozen, despite the engine being warm. Where exactly is the fuse box located, and which fuse should I check?

Yes, it was the washer heater. I thought it was clogged nozzles at first. As for the fuse box, I'm not entirely sure where it is in your model. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they sorted it out quickly. Maybe that's your best bet too?

Many thanks for the information. The garage confirmed the cable to the heating element was defective, as suspected. 95€ later, the windshield wipers are working perfectly, even in freezing temperatures. Winter driving is much safer now.

I had something similar with my Roomster. Were your windshield wipers completely frozen, or just spraying weakly? Have you checked the fuse box? Sometimes it's the simplest things.
