Skoda Scala engine trouble
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Skoda Scala with a gasoline engine is experiencing rough running, jerking during acceleration, and stalling at idle, accompanied by a check engine light. The problem is suspected to be related to the ignition coil or a defective cable/plug connection. After investigation, it was confirmed to be a defective ignition coil connection, which was resolved by replacing the faulty component.

Yes, it's stalling at idle as well. Was it the ignition coil in your case?

Yes! It was coil failure. Definitely get it checked out by a workshop ASAP. Hopefully it's a quick and cheap fix for you too!

Thanks for your help. It was indeed a defective ignition coil, or rather the cable/plug connection to it. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted.

Oh my gosh, that sounds like what happened to my Scala! I had similar engine hesitation and the check engine light was on too. Was it also stalling at idle? It was so annoying!
