Interesting. When you say 'check the wiring', what exactly did you check? I'm not super familiar with car electrics. Any specific wires or connectors I should be looking at?

I checked the wiring that goes directly into the humidity sensor itself and also the connector. The wire was broken. Honestly, I just took it to the workshop to get it fixed. Given your symptoms, it's probably best to have it checked professionally. They'll be able to diagnose the electrical issue properly.

It was indeed the fog sensor, or more specifically, a faulty cable. The workshop replaced the cable and the sensor works like a charm now. The air conditioning is finally working again. Total cost was 95€, as predicted. I appreciate your input!

Sounds like a faulty humidity sensor. I had a similar issue with my Renault Megane. Same symptoms: AC not working, mirror heating dead, and some weird errors popping up. Check the wiring and the connector first. Could be a simple electrical issue.
