Skoda Scala Headlight Range Control Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Skoda Scala is experiencing a headlight range control fault, with the low beam shining incorrectly and a warning light present. The suspected cause is a defective servomotor. A similar issue was resolved by replacing the servomotors, which fixed the auto-leveling problem. A proper diagnosis at a workshop is recommended to confirm the issue.

When you experienced this headlight malfunction, did the low beam also shine too far down or up? Was it throwing the warning light in the speedometer?

Yes, precisely. Same symptoms: low beam aimed incorrectly, and the warning light was on. Check the headlight switch, but most likely it is, as you suspect, the servomotor. I advise a proper diagnosis in a workshop though.

After the repair shop confirmed the headlight malfunction, I replaced both servomotors. That fixed the auto-leveling problem. It cost 1040€.

I understand your issue. The Scala's lighting system can be quite sensitive. I experienced a similar headlight range control fault with the auto-leveling on my Scala. Is the headlight switch properly set to 'auto'?
