Skoda Scala Massage Seat Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Skoda Scala owner reported a problem with the massage seat function not activating, with a VCDS scan indicating an error related to the seat switch. The issue was suspected to be due to a cable or plug problem. Another individual with a similar experience suggested checking the fuses and the seat switch, noting that a loose connection to the seat switch was the cause in their case. The problem was resolved by fixing a faulty connection at a workshop.

Cheers! Where was your switch failure located exactly? And did you get an error message too?

Yep, I had the error message as well. I didn't want to mess with the car upholstery myself so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a loose connection to the seat switch. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Honestly, I would recommend you take it to a workshop too, especially if it's throwing an error. It's not worth potentially damaging the seat motor or something else trying to fix it yourself.

Cheers for the help! It ended up being a dodgy connection as predicted. 95€ at the workshop and now my back is happy again.

Hey, that sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my Scala, although I can't remember what year it was. The massage seat just stopped working. Have you checked the fuses? It could be something simple like that. Also, have you tried fiddling with the seat switch itself? Sometimes they can get a bit wonky. It's probably not the seat motor itself because those things are usually pretty robust. Hope this helps!
