Skoda Scala Oil Pressure Warning

My 2019 Skoda Scala diesel, with 100799 km on the clock, has a warning light on the speedometer and the oil pressure light is on. The engine oil looks contaminated. Could this be from missing the service? I'm worried about engine damage. Are there any oil additives that might help?

I had something similar happen with my Scala. Did you check the oil color? Mine was really dark. I also saw the oil pressure light. Has the oil been changed when it should?

The oil was pretty dark. The oil pressure light comes on sometimes, especially when idling for a while. I have to admit, I missed the last service. Could that be what's causing this? What did you end up doing to fix yours?

Yeah, the late oil change probably did it. Get to a workshop ASAP to avoid engine trouble. For me, just changing the oil fixed it. I wouldn't use any additives.

I'm very grateful for your help. I took your advice and went to a workshop right away. They said the overdue service caused the contamination. An oil change and new filter solved it. It cost 165€. I'll stick to the service schedule from now on.
