Thank you for your response. Regarding the wiring harness, could you provide more specific guidance on where to inspect for potential damage? Additionally, are there any particular diagnostic tools you would recommend for retrieving error codes related to the outside temperature sensor?

Given the complexity of modern vehicle electronics, I hesitate to provide definitive troubleshooting steps without a proper diagnostic assessment. However, considering your symptoms and the error code, it is probable that the outside temperature sensor is indeed the source of the issue. While you could attempt to inspect the wiring and connections yourself, I must advise that you consult a qualified workshop for a comprehensive sensor diagnostics. This will ensure accurate identification and resolution of the problem.

I appreciate your input. As suspected, the issue was indeed a defective connection on the outside temperature sensor. The repair, including parts and labor, amounted to 95€. The air conditioning system is now functioning correctly, the spray nozzles are no longer freezing, and the mirror heating is operational.

Given the symptoms you describe, a faulty outside temperature sensor certainly seems plausible. However, I wonder if you have inspected the wiring harness leading to the sensor for any signs of damage, such as fraying or corrosion? Furthermore, it might be prudent to check the relevant fuses to ensure they are intact. A diagnostic scan should reveal any stored error codes related to the sensor malfunction, which would help confirm the diagnosis.
