Skoda Scala power steering issue

I'm experiencing some issues with the power steering on my 2019 Skoda Scala diesel. The steering wheel vibrates, handling feels spongy, and sometimes it feels like the power steering just quits. There's also an error stored. Could it be related to the steering rack or steering column? I'm thinking it might be a cable or plug connection issue.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had something similar with my Scala. Vibrating steering wheel and all that. I'd check the hydraulic fluid level first, could be a simple fix.

Hydraulic fluid level, okay. Where exactly is that located, and is there anything else I should look for while I'm at it?

Yep, same symptoms. Checking the fluid is easy, but honestly, I'd get it checked out by a pro. My mechanic suspected the entire steering system at first. Turned out to be electrical. Get the error codes read properly. Good luck!

Took it to the workshop, and it was a defective plug connection. They fixed it for 95€. Thanks for the help.
