Skoda Scala Rough Idling Engine Mount Issue

I'm having trouble. My 2020 Skoda Scala with a gasoline engine is giving me fits. I've got about 48437 km on it, and recently, it's started idling really rough. I scanned the error memory, and it's showing an engine mount issue. The garage suspects it might be a defective cable or plug connection on the component. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this? The symptoms are driving me nuts.

I have a Scala as well. I experienced very similar symptoms and a stored error. It turned out to be a failed mount, specifically the rubber mount. Did you inspect the transmission mount for any visible signs of wear or damage? The engine mount failure can cause uneven idling.

Interesting. When you say you had a similar issue, was it also a defective engine mount? And when you are saying 'rubber mount', do you mean the actual rubber part of the engine mount? I am trying to understand if it's something I can visually check before taking it to the mechanic.

Yes, it was indeed a mount failure on mine. And by rubber mount, I am referring to the actual rubber component of the engine mount. Visual inspection might reveal cracking or significant degradation, but often the defect is internal. I would suggest having a workshop inspect it to confirm.

Thanks for the help. The workshop confirmed it was a defective engine mount. They replaced it for 95€, and now my Scala is running smoothly again. The error's gone, and the idling is even. It seems the cable or plug connection on the component was the culprit, like they suspected. I appreciate the advice.
