Skoda Superb Blower Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Skoda Superb with a gasoline engine experienced a complete failure of the fresh air blower, with no airflow regardless of settings. A diagnostic tool indicated an error related to the blower motor, suggesting it might be defective. Another individual with a similar issue suggested checking the fan speed controller, but ultimately, replacing the blower motor resolved the problem. The faulty blower motor was replaced at a workshop, restoring functionality.

Thanks for the reply. The fan speed controller is a good shout. Where is it located? Also, did you have any error codes stored when yours failed? I'm getting one related to the blower motor, so I assumed that was the issue, but I am not 100% sure.

My error code pointed to the blower motor as well. I didn't bother checking the fan speed controller myself. I just took it to a workshop and they replaced the blower motor. Problem solved. I would suggest you do the same.

Took the Superb to the workshop. The blower motor was indeed faulty. A new one has been fitted and it's all working again. Total cost 365€. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Superb. The air flow was intermittent and then stopped completely. Have you checked the fan speed controller? That could also be the culprit.
