Skoda Superb Brake Booster Issue

Yes, there is an error stored in the error memory. The diagnostic tool pointed to the brake booster pressure sensor. However, is it possible that incorrectly bled brakes can actually cause the sensor to fail? I am not quite sure about the connection.

Okay, the connection is this: If the brakes weren't bled properly, air bubbles can mess with the pressure readings. The ABS system relies on accurate pressure data from the brake booster. Since your diagnostic tool already points to the sensor and you have a braking issue, it's likely the sensor has been damaged by the fluctuating pressure. I'd suggest going to a workshop. They will probably check the ABS system and replace the pressure sensor.

Thanks for the help. As suspected, the brake booster pressure sensor was faulty due to air in the system from a previous brake bleed. Replacement parts cost me 90€. All good now!

Hey there, I had a similar problem with my Volvo V70 a while back. Got the same error message, and the braking was definitely weaker. For me, it turned out to be related to the ABS system. Did you happen to use diagnostic tools to check the error memory? That's what pointed me in the right direction.
