Skoda Superb Cruise Control Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Skoda Superb with a gasoline engine is experiencing a cruise control malfunction, displaying an error message and storing a fault related to the system. The issue is suspected to be a defective cable or plug connection on the actuator. After checking the fuses and consulting with others who had similar issues, it was confirmed that a faulty connection on the actuator was the cause. Replacing the plug resolved the problem.

Was it also an issue with the actuator? And what kind of warning did you get? Mine just says 'Error: Cruise Control' in the speedometer display. I've checked the fuses, they seem okay.

It was the actuator. Apparently, the plug connection on the throttle body was corroded. The car threw a generic 'check injection system' warning and logged a fault code related to the throttle body. If you're getting a specific cruise control error and have checked the fuses, I'd say get it checked out by a professional. Could save you time and trouble.

Took it to the shop, and you were right. It was a faulty connection on the actuator, like you said. New plug and it's all working now. Cost me 95€.

Had something similar happen on my Renault Megane. Cruise control just went non-functional one day, and a warning light appeared. Did you check the simple things like fuses?
