Skoda Superb Diesel Engine Issue

I am experiencing an issue with my 2007 Skoda Superb diesel. I have noticed an increase in fuel consumption coupled with a reduction in engine power. The check engine light has also illuminated. Diagnostics suggest a cylinder pressure fluctuation. Could this be a sign related to the piston rings, head gasket, timing belt, crankshaft, or even the camshaft? I'm hoping it is just a consequential error resulting from another error.

I'm happy to say that after a diagnostic check at the workshop, the fluctuating cylinder pressure was a ghost code. It stemmed from a faulty sensor that was misreporting data.
