Thanks for the quick reply! You mentioned a sensor in the fuel system. Do you recall which sensor it was? Also, how did you check the fuel quality? I filled up at my usual gas station, but you never know…

I don't remember the exact sensor, to be honest. It was a while ago. Regarding the fuel quality, I didn't check it myself. The workshop guys did some tests. Considering the symptoms and error code, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They can run proper diagnostics and pinpoint the issue more accurately. Could be a dodgy connection somewhere.

I took my Superb to a trusted mechanic, and they found a defective cable connection as the culprit. The error memory pointed them in the right direction. 95€ later, the engine runs smoothly, and the check engine light is gone! Thanks for your help and advice!

I had a similar issue with my Superb, though I can't recall the exact error code. It sounds like your fuel mixture is off, which could be caused by a faulty sensor in the fuel system. Have you checked the fuel quality recently? Sometimes, bad fuel can throw everything off. A bad fuel pump relay can also cause similar issues, cutting fuel at idle.
