Skoda Superb Diesel rough engine running
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Skoda Superb diesel was experiencing rough engine running, with the check engine light indicating a fault related to reset quantity drift compensation. The suspected cause was a defective injection valve. The solution involved diagnosing the injector values using onboard diagnostics, identifying an injector issue, and replacing the faulty injector. A reset procedure was necessary to clear the error and recalibrate the system, which resolved the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you elaborate on how you identified the injector drift? Was a reset procedure required afterwards?

Yes, the onboard diagnostics showed one injector with values outside the normal range. It pointed to an injector issue. After replacing the injector, a reset procedure via onboard diagnostics was necessary to clear the error and recalibrate the drift compensation. Replacing the injector solved the issue. A performance tuning is not required in this case, a system reset of the injector values should do it. You should visit a workshop.

I visited a workshop, and it turned out to be a defective injector. After replacing it, including the reset quantity drift compensation, the issue is now resolved. Total cost was 515€.

I had a similar issue with my Superb. Rough running and the engine light. Have you checked the injector values with onboard diagnostics? It could be related to injector drift. I would check that first.
