Skoda Superb Diesel Tire Pressure Error
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Skoda Superb diesel is experiencing a persistent 'Tire pressure too low' error message, despite the tires appearing properly inflated. This issue is likely related to a malfunctioning Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor, possibly due to a dead sensor battery. The recommended solution is to have the sensors checked and potentially replaced at a workshop, which ultimately resolved the problem.

The warning appears pretty quickly after starting the car. I checked and inflated the tires, but the error message is still there, and the error is still stored in the error memory. Could it really be the sensor even if the tires seem fine?

Sounds exactly like what I experienced! The sensors have batteries, and they eventually die. Since the warning comes on quickly, it's very likely a faulty sensor. In my case, it was the sensor battery empty. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to confirm, but be prepared to replace the sensor. It's a common issue. They'll need to check all sensors. TPMS issues can be a real pain.

Just wanted to say the problem is solved. The workshop confirmed it was the tire pressure sensor. Replacing it fixed the error. Total cost was 280€, ouch! Thanks for the help!

I feel your pain! I had a similar TPMS issue with my old Renault Megane. I kept getting low tire warnings even after inflating the tires. First thing I'd check is the air valve itself, just in case it's leaking slightly. Does the warning appear immediately, or after driving for a while?
