Skoda Superb Mirror Heating Problem

Continuity? How exactly does one check that without a complete mirror replacement?

Yes, checking continuity involves using a multimeter to see if there's a continuous electrical path through the heater element inside the car mirror. If there's no continuity, the heater element is likely faulty. Given the error code and your suspicion of a connection issue, the workshop's diagnosis seems reasonable. Maybe best to let them sort the mirror replacement.

Thanks for the info. I took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it was indeed a faulty connection in the car mirror. They repaired it for 95€, just like they estimated. All good now.

I had a similar issue with my Audi a while back. Mirror heating stopped working, and it turned out to be a broken wire inside the car mirror itself. Did you check the car mirror heater element for continuity? Have you had any other car electronics problems?
