Skoda Superb Seat Heating Problems

My 2007 Skoda Superb with a gasoline engine has a seat heating issue. It isn't working. I've got an error stored in the error memory, which points towards the seat heating. Anyone else had this issue before? Thinking it might be the seat heating mat.

Sounds like the same problem I had. Does it happen on both the seat cushion and backrest, or just one area? Did you already check the fuses?

Thanks for the quick reply. It's not getting warm on the seat cushion or the backrest, nothing at all. I did have a look at the fuses, but they all seem fine. Where was the problem on your seat heating exactly?

Yeah, same symptoms. Fuses were fine. I messed around a bit trying to find a loose connector under the seat but didn't have any luck. Eventually, I took it to the shop. They diagnosed a faulty seat heating element, the seat heating mat, and replaced it. I'd recommend getting yours checked out professionally to be sure.

I took it to the workshop, and you were right. The seat heating mat was defective. They replaced it, and now the seat is warm again. Cost around 390€, but worth it for a warm seat.
