A flasher relay, huh? I'm not super familiar with car parts, is that hard to get to? Where would I even find that, and how would I know if it's broken? Also, what do you mean by electrical fault, like a short circuit?

Yeah, a faulty flasher relay is definitely a possibility. But since you're getting an error message and have already tried a bulb replacement, it's more likely an electrical fault in the wiring or the bulb holder itself. By electrical fault I mean a break in the wire, a corroded connector, or something like that. Honestly, chasing electrical gremlins can be a nightmare. If you're not comfortable with electrical work, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Based on my experience, I think you can expect to pay around 95€ for them to diagnose and fix the issue. They'll have the proper tools and expertise to find the problem quickly.

You were totally right! It was the turn indicator light. I took it to the workshop, and they found a defective connection at the bulb holder. They replaced the bulb and fixed the connector. Total cost was 95€, exactly what you predicted. Thanks a million for your help!

Oh man, that sounds super frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa, though not exactly the same car. The turn indicator would randomly stop working, and I'd get a light on the dash. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty flasher relay. The flasher relay is what controls the blinking of the turn signals. It's usually a cheap and easy fix. Have you checked that? It could also be just a simple bulb replacement, but since you're getting error messages, it might be more than that. An electrical fault could also be the root cause, so check the cable connections as well.
