Refrigerant level seems fine, the garage checked it. You mentioned a similar issue. Was it also the AC compressor? And what was the eventual repair cost for you?

Turns out it was a faulty AC compressor, the AC compressor itself failed, which then triggered the error. I'd suggest getting it properly diagnosed at a workshop to be certain. The automotive cooling system can be complex, and it's best to have a professional look. They'll be able to pinpoint the exact cause and give you a proper quote.

It was indeed the AC control unit on my Yeti. 980€ later, the auto refrigerant is flowing and the car air conditioning is working again. Thanks for the tip!

Sounds familiar. I had similar AC unit issues with my Skoda Octavia, although I've got a petrol engine. Car air conditioning just stopped, error light on the dash. Did you check the basics, like the refrigerant level? Although with those symptoms, it does point to something more serious than just needing a top-up.
