Skoda Yeti air suspension malfunction

I am writing to inquire about a problem with the air suspension on my 2013 Skoda Yeti with a diesel engine. It appears the air suspension compressor has failed or is malfunctioning. The vehicle no longer lifts, and it leans to one side. An error is stored in the error memory, and an error message is displayed on the speedometer. The low beams are misaligned, and a warning light is illuminated. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection to the compressor. What could it be?

Summary of the thread

The air suspension on a 2013 Skoda Yeti with a diesel engine is malfunctioning, causing the vehicle to lean to one side and display error messages. The suspected causes include a failed air suspension compressor or a defective cable or plug connection. Suggested solutions involve checking the fuses and inspecting the wiring and compressor connections for corrosion or damage. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by repairing the cable to the compressor, restoring the vehicle's level stance.

I am familiar with similar problems on my Skoda Octavia. Air suspension issues can be tricky. Is the compressor running at all? Have you checked the fuses related to the air suspension system? Sometimes a simple fuse replacement can solve the issue.

Thank you for your reply. I haven't checked the fuses yet, but I will. Regarding the compressor, how can I tell if it is running? I can't hear anything obvious.

In my case, I did not hear the compressor at all. When the mechanic checked, it turned out the fuse was fine, but the connection to the compressor was corroded. It is difficult to diagnose remotely, but I suggest visiting a workshop to have them check the wiring and the compressor itself. It could be a faulty compressor, but hopefully, it's just a connection issue.

I appreciate the input. It seems the cable to the compressor was indeed the problem. A quick repair set me back only 95€. Now the Yeti is sitting level again.
