Thanks for the quick reply. Was your diagnostic error similar on your Octavia? You mentioned the immobilizer; can I easily test that without special tools? Also, where are the alarm sensors usually located on Skodas?

On my Octavia, the error was a faulty sensor, but your error could be coding-related. I don't know an easy way to test the immobilizer. I'd be careful changing the car's software. The alarm sensors are usually in the doors, tailgate, and bonnet. Given your diagnostics, a Skoda specialist might be best.

The error was related to a coding issue activating optical locking. The unit was recoded, and the alarm is now working. The repair cost was 45€. It seems a previous owner enabled this function. I hope this helps other Skoda Yeti owners.

I had a similar alarm issue on my Skoda Octavia, it gave frequent false alarms. The log showed intermittent sensor faults. Have you checked the immobilizer? Sometimes that triggers the alarm. Make sure all doors, the tailgate, and the bonnet are properly closed. A bad door sensor can cause issues too. Did this start after any work was done?
