Skoda Yeti audio system failure

Okay, with the USB audio also not working and the sound distortion you mentioned, it does sound like a speaker issue affecting the whole system. It's not always logical, but a shorted speaker can sometimes shut down the entire audio system to protect the amplifier. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose it properly. Mine turned out to be the bass speaker as well.

Sound distortion... now that you mention it, yes, I think I did notice some weird sounds lately. But could a defective speaker really cause the whole system to go silent? I thought it would just affect the sound quality, not cause complete radio silence. I did try USB audio and still nothing.

The workshop confirmed the bass speaker was the problem, as suspected. Replacement restored the sound. The repair was 280€, thanks for the help.

Radio silence is never good. I had a similar problem with my Yeti, same model as yours. Did you notice any sound distortion before it went completely silent? Have you tried different audio sources like USB to rule out a specific input issue? It could be a simple fuse, but car speakers can be tricky.
