Skoda Yeti Brake Pedal Feels Spongy

Alright, so I'm getting seriously weird vibes from my brake pedal in my 2017 Skoda Yeti gasoline engine. Feels kinda spongy and gives me this pulsing feedback. Now, I've been reading online that undervoltage can mess with the whole brake system. Has anyone else had this issue? Could it really be the cause, or am I barking up the wrong tree? Really don't want to end up replacing the wrong parts.

Strange pedal feel, huh? I had something similar with my Yeti. Not sure about the voltage thing, but the disc brakes were acting weird. Could be the brake pads are unevenly worn? Have you checked those?

Uneven wear on the brake pads, eh? How would that cause the strange pedal feedback exactly? And could it really be related to this undervoltage issue I keep reading about?

Yeah, the uneven wear caused a vibration that I could feel right through the pedal. The voltage thing is a bit beyond me, but if you suspect it, better to get it checked. Honestly, with those kind of symptoms, I'd get it to a workshop, especially since it involves the brake system and brake fluid. Could be something more serious than just brake pads.

You were spot on! Turns out it was a voltage issue messing with the brake system. Got it sorted at the garage, new brake shoes and a check of the brake fluid, cost me 240€ but it feels like a new car! Thanks again for the help!
