Skoda Yeti climate control malfunction

Thanks for the quick reply. I did a quick visual inspection of the wiring, but I will check the harness and connector more thoroughly. Regarding the error code, I'll have to check it again, but if I recall correctly, it pointed specifically to a faulty interior temperature sensor. Do you think that the error code could be misleading and the problem could still be the wiring?

The error code could point to the sensor, but a faulty connection can trigger it too. Before replacing the sensor, thoroughly inspect the wiring and connector with a multimeter. If the wiring is good, then a sensor replacement is likely the solution. Considering the symptoms, and that the AC doesn't engage at all, a visit to a workshop might be the quickest way to sort it out. They have the right tools for HVAC diagnostics.

As suggested, I brought the Yeti to a trusted workshop. They confirmed the defective temperature sensor and a faulty plug connection. The sensor replacement and fixing the wiring were done for 95€. The climate regulation is now working flawlessly again. Thanks a lot for your support!

Had a similar issue with my Opel a while back, albeit a different brand. The symptoms sound very familiar. Have you checked the wiring harness and connector to the temperature sensor? Sometimes a loose connection or corroded pins can cause this. Also, is the error code specific, or just a generic 'climate control malfunction'?
