Skoda Yeti connectivity problem
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Skoda Yeti is experiencing connectivity issues, with a smartphone failing to connect and an error stored in the memory. Possible causes include an electrical fault or issues with the infotainment system. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop for proper diagnosis, as the problem could be related to incorrect phone pairing, which was resolved for a small fee.

Engine light didn't trigger, thankfully. Fuel system seems fine too. You reckon it's worth checking the electrics myself, or should I just bite the bullet and take it to a shop?

Nah, if the engine light's off and the fuel system's behaving, poking around the electrics without proper tools and knowledge can be risky. I'd say go to the workshop, especially if you've got error codes stored. They'll have the gear to diagnose it properly. Mine was a simple fix in the end, related to the infotainment system, so hopefully yours will be too. Good luck!

Cheers for the advice. Just got it resolved. Turns out it was a simple incorrect pairing with my phone. 45€ at the shop and all good.

Whoa, that's a weird one! I had a similar issue with my Yeti's connectivity. Couldn't get my phone to sync. Did the engine light come on, by any chance? Could be an electrical fault somewhere, messing with the whole system. Check your fuel system too. It's a long shot, but you never know with these electrical gremlins. Don't rule out suspension either!
