Skoda Yeti Damping Adjustment Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Skoda Yeti owner experienced a damping adjustment fault, indicated by a warning light and poor ride comfort. The issue was suspected to be related to a cable or plug problem. Another individual with similar past issues suggested checking the wiring and connector block on the damper, which is prone to exposure and damage. The problem was resolved by fixing a faulty plug connection.

Wiring to the damping control unit specifically? Whereabouts is that located? Just want to have a look myself before booking it in.

Yep, the wiring and connector block on the damper itself. It's exposed to the elements and road spray. Worth a look but honestly, I'd get it to a workshop. Could be more than just a loose connection, but that was my issue, causing a rough ride and affecting the vehicle suspension.

Cheers for the advice. Turned out to be a dodgy plug connection as suspected. 95€ later and it's sorted.

Sounds familiar. I had similar suspension failure issues with my Yeti. Bumpy ride, warning light, the works. Check the wiring to the damping control unit. It's a common fault. Has the car handling felt off?
