Skoda Yeti electrical issues
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Skoda Yeti with 48,000 km is experiencing sporadic electrical issues, particularly affecting the audio and navigation systems, with error messages being logged. The problem is suspected to be related to a faulty connection, possibly within the control units. It is suggested to use an OBD-II scanner to diagnose the issue, but ultimately, a workshop visit reveals a faulty connection to the BUS system, which is repaired for 155€.

OBD-II codes? Is that something I can check myself, or do I need to take it somewhere?

OBD-II is the standard diagnostic port in your car. You can get a scan tool – they're not too expensive – and plug it in to read the error codes yourself. That'll give you a better idea of what's going wrong. But honestly, given the symptoms, it does sound like a wiring issue. If you're not comfortable poking around with the electrics, I'd suggest a workshop. I ended up needing one.

Thanks for the suggestion. I took it to the shop. Turns out you were spot on – a dodgy connection to the BUS system. They sorted it for 155€.

Sounds familiar. I had something similar with my Yeti, though I can't remember the exact error code. System failure and warning signals galore! Did you try scanning for OBD-II codes? That might give you a clue. In my case, it was a faulty connection to one of the control units.
