Skoda Yeti emergency call system malfunction
Summary of the thread
The Skoda Yeti's emergency call system malfunctioned, displaying constant error messages and warning lights. The suspected cause was a defective cable or plug connection. A suggested solution was to perform a system reset by disconnecting the battery and checking diagnostic codes with an OBD2 reader. Ultimately, a workshop inspection revealed a slightly corroded plug, which was cleaned to resolve the issue.

System reset, you say? How exactly did you do that? And where did you check the diagnostic codes? With a regular OBD2 reader, or something more specific for Skoda?

A standard OBD2 reader should give you the diagnostic codes. The system reset was basically disconnecting the battery for a few minutes worth a shot, right? But honestly, if it’s a connection issue, it's probably best to get it checked at a workshop. They can pinpoint the exact location of the malfunction.

Took the Yeti to the workshop, and you were right. They checked the cable connections, found a slightly corroded plug, cleaned it, and now the emergency call system is working. Cost 95€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar emergency call system malfunction in my Yeti. Did you try a system reset? Also, did you check the diagnostic codes? Knowing those might give a clue.
