Skoda Yeti Engine Stalling and Power Loss

Yes, the check engine light is on! The engine sometimes stalls when I'm stopped, and it feels like I'm not getting the power I used to. What fixed your car, and what did it set you back?

Okay, the check engine light and stalling definitely suggest a fuel issue. In my case, it turned out to be a bad fuel regulator, probably because of a failing high-pressure fuel pump. It might be worth having a mechanic check it out to confirm. Driving it like this could cause more damage. They'll be able to test the fuel pressure and check for any other problems with the fuel injection system.

Just picked up my Yeti from the shop. It was the high pressure fuel pump causing the fuel volume regulator to fail. They put in a new pump, and the car is running great again. Cost me about 1510€, which hurt a bit, but at least it's sorted. Thanks for the input!

That sounds like a pain. I had something similar happen with my Skoda Yeti a while ago. The check engine light was on, and the engine was running rough, especially when idling. Have you seen any problems with fuel efficiency or any weird noises coming from the engine?
