Skoda Yeti Keyless Access Problem

I've got a bit of a head-scratcher with my 2011 Skoda Yeti, gasoline engine. The keyless access has suddenly stopped working on the driver's door. No amount of waving the key around seems to do anything. I scanned it with an OBD reader, and there's an error stored, pointing towards the door handle electronics. My hunch is that it's a dodgy cable or plug connection somewhere in the car door, maybe the door actuator or the door switch itself. Has anyone else had similar issues with their electric door setup?

That sounds super familiar. I had almost the exact same problem with my Yeti, the keyless entry just stopped working. There weren't any warning lights, but the error memory definitely had something stored. Was it just the driver's door, or all of them?

Yes, it's just the driver's door. Did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you take it to a workshop? If you took it to a workshop, do you remember what the actual issue was?

Sounds like exactly what I had. It's almost certainly a broken wire or a dodgy connector in the door actuator. I wouldn't even bother trying to fix it yourself unless you're really confident with car electrics. It's a pain to get the door panel off, and fiddling with those tiny connectors is just asking for trouble. Just take it to a reliable workshop, they'll sort it out quickly. It shouldn't cost a fortune.

Just wanted to say it's fixed. The workshop confirmed it was a defective cable/plug connection in the door actuator. The cost was 95€, which seems reasonable. Thanks again for the help.
