Skoda Yeti NOx emissions issue

Interesting! So, your Yeti also had NOx emissions problems because of an exhaust leak? Was it obvious, or did the garage have to hunt for it? I'm just trying to figure out how likely it is that it's the same issue before I take it to the workshop. How old was the car?

Yep, pretty much the same symptoms! The leak wasn't massive, but enough to throw everything off and trigger the NOx emissions error. Honestly, I'd just take it to a decent garage. They'll be able to do a proper smoke test and pinpoint any leaks in the exhaust system. It's worth getting it sorted for the air quality if nothing else!

Well, just got back from the garage. Turns out it was indeed a leak in the exhaust system, just like you suspected! They replaced a section of the exhaust and the check engine light is gone. Cost me 265€, which I think is reasonable. Thanks a bunch for your help! Really appreciate it!

Whoa, sounds like a pain! I had something similar happen with my Yeti. The check engine light kept popping up, and the car diagnostics pointed to NOx emissions issues too. I'm no expert, but it might be worth checking your exhaust system for leaks. I had a small crack that was messing everything up. Is your exhaust leaking?
