Control module connection, you say? Can you elaborate where exactly I should be looking? Is it related to the rearview camera or blind spot sensors?

Yes, I meant a bad connection to the parking assist control module. The rearview camera and blind spot sensors are related, they all feed into the control module. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. It can be tricky to trace faulty wiring without the right tools.

Appreciate the insight. Turns out it was faulty wiring to the ultrasonic sensors. 95€ later and the parking aid is functioning again.

I had a similar issue with my Skoda Octavia. Was the control module checked? It might be a connection problem there. I am not an expert, but I have read a lot about it on the internet.
