Skoda Yeti Software Issue

I'm getting seriously frustrated with my 2017 Skoda Yeti. It's got about 92000 km on it, gasoline engine, and it's throwing a bunch of errors. Seems like a vehicle software issue. The error memory is full, I'm getting general electrical malfunctions, and the navigation system is completely dead. The workshop guys are saying it's likely a programming issue with the control unit. Anyone else run into something similar?

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Yeti a while back, though I can't remember the exact error code. Was your navigation completely dead, or just acting weird? Did your onboard diagnostics throw any other weird codes besides the main ECU problems?

Yeah, the navigation was totally unresponsive. Pretty annoying! The onboard diagnostics were showing a few other minor electrical glitches, but nothing consistent. Did you end up needing a full ECU replacement?

Okay, total nav failure and other glitches sounds really close to what I experienced. No, thankfully, they didn't have to replace the ECU. They just reinstalled the software, or something like that. I'd suggest taking it to a trusted workshop that knows Skoda's well. Sounds like a classic software malfunction, and hopefully, a reflash will sort it out.

Took it to the workshop, they confirmed it was a software bug. They reflashed the ECU and everything seems to be working fine now. Cost me 240€. Thanks for the help!
