Skoda Yeti Software Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Skoda Yeti with 92,000 km is experiencing multiple errors, including general electrical malfunctions and a non-functional navigation system, likely due to a vehicle software issue. The workshop identified the problem as a programming issue with the control unit. The suggested solution was to reflash the ECU, which resolved the issues.

Yeah, the navigation was totally unresponsive. Pretty annoying! The onboard diagnostics were showing a few other minor electrical glitches, but nothing consistent. Did you end up needing a full ECU replacement?

Okay, total nav failure and other glitches sounds really close to what I experienced. No, thankfully, they didn't have to replace the ECU. They just reinstalled the software, or something like that. I'd suggest taking it to a trusted workshop that knows Skoda's well. Sounds like a classic software malfunction, and hopefully, a reflash will sort it out.

Took it to the workshop, they confirmed it was a software bug. They reflashed the ECU and everything seems to be working fine now. Cost me 240€. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my Yeti a while back, though I can't remember the exact error code. Was your navigation completely dead, or just acting weird? Did your onboard diagnostics throw any other weird codes besides the main ECU problems?
