Skoda Yeti Sun Blind Problem
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Skoda Yeti diesel has a sun blind issue where the blind is stuck and not retracting or extending, accompanied by an error code. The suspected cause is a defective motor. The suggested solution is to have the motor replaced at a workshop, which resolved the problem for another owner with a similar issue.

Interesting you had the same issue. No, no weird noises beforehand. Just stopped working. The sun blind in the interior accessory is just stuck. Did yours also throw an error code?

Yep, error code was there too. No noises like you, just sudden stop. If it’s electrical and throwing codes, and it's stuck, yeah, sounds like the motor. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it yourself if you're not super confident. I bit the bullet and took it to a workshop.

Took it to the workshop as you suggested. It was the motor, like we thought. New motor and labor cost me around 330€. Thanks for your help!

Whoa, that sucks! I had the exact same problem with my Yeti. The car sunshade just wouldn't move, stuck solid. Drove me nuts! Was it making any weird noises before it packed up?
