Bulb is new and tests OK with multimeter. Error is only on the left turn signal. Any further ideas before I dig deeper?

If the bulb is testing fine and the issue is isolated to one side, it reinforces the likelihood of a localized wiring or connector problem. Given the error message and symptoms, it's advisable to have a workshop inspect the wiring harness and connector specifically for the left turn signal. It's possible there's corrosion, a loose connection, or even a partially broken wire within the harness that's difficult to detect without proper diagnostic tools.

Confirmed cable issue. Replaced defective turn signal lamp cable and connector, total cost 95€. Thanks for the input.

That does sound like a frustrating situation. The error message, coupled with the lighting fault, strongly suggests an electrical issue, as you suspected. Given the mileage on your 2017 Skoda Yeti, it's possible that the wiring harness or connector for the turn indicator has degraded over time due to vibration and environmental factors. Think of it like a garden hose that kinks after being left in the sun for too long; the material becomes brittle and prone to failure. Have you checked the bulb itself, even though you suspect the wiring? Sometimes a bulb can fail in a way that throws an error even if the filament appears intact. Also, is the issue only affecting one side of the vehicle?
