Skoda Yeti Windshield Washer Heater Problem

My 2017 Skoda Yeti with a diesel engine has a problem with the windshield washer heater. I keep getting an error in the error memory, and the spray nozzles freeze up in cold weather. From what I could gather, it's probably a bad cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this?
