Skyline OBD2 system readiness incomplete

I'm having an odd issue with my 2019 Nissan Skyline hybrid. It's got 178619 km on the clock. The system readiness check is incomplete, and I'm getting an error message on the speedometer, plus an error stored in the error memory. I recently used an OBD2 reader for diagnostics, and I suspect that might be the culprit. Anyone else experienced this?

Hey! I have a Skyline too. I had something similar happen after I cleared some codes with an OBD reader. I think it's like the car needs to re-learn all the emissions stuff. Did you try driving it for a while after the readout?

Interesting! How long is 'a while'? I've driven maybe 50 km since the OBD2 readout. Is there a specific type of driving that helps, like highway vs. city, or does it just need mileage?

Yeah, 50km probably isn't enough. Think of it like warming up an old engine – it needs time to cycle through everything. For me, it eventually cleared itself after a week of normal driving. If it doesn't clear after a couple of weeks, maybe visit a workshop.

Thanks a bunch for the info! Turns out you were spot on. After another week, the system readiness cleared itself. The vehicle inspection passed, and no repair costs were incurred. Much appreciated!
