Skyline Washer Fluid Issue

Thanks for the quick response! I did refill the washer fluid reservoir. Initially, I thought that was the end of it and that it was too low, however it didn't fix the issue. How can I check if the pump motor is activating?

Given that refilling the reservoir did not resolve the issue, and assuming the fluid level is now verified as adequate, the next step involves a systematic evaluation of the pump motor and associated electrical circuit. Activation of the pump motor can often be discerned audibly; listen closely near the washer fluid reservoir while actuating the windshield washer control. If no sound is perceptible, the motor may be faulty, or the electrical circuit supplying power to the motor may be compromised. It is advisable to consult with a qualified technician for a comprehensive electrical diagnosis. They can definitively ascertain the integrity of the circuit and the functional status of the pump.

Thanks for the assist. Took it to my local shop, and you were spot on! Turns out, even though I filled it, there was a leak somewhere in the reservoir so it was triggering the sensor. The mechanic replaced the reservoir for 25€ and the windshield washers are working again. I appreciate the help!

Greetings. The symptoms you describe point towards a straightforward issue, likely stemming from the low wiper fluid level that you reported. The error stored in memory is a direct consequence of this. Have you attempted to refill the washer fluid reservoir to the appropriate level? Moreover, could you ascertain whether the pump motor is activating when you attempt to engage the windshield washer system?
