SLC brake booster pressure sensor failure

The diagnostic tools used were standard workshop equipment. The pressure sensor itself was not tested directly. The assumption is that improper bleeding introduced air, affecting the sensor readings. Is this the problem you encountered as well?

Okay, 'standard workshop equipment' doesn't tell me much, haha. But yeah, my issue was almost the same. Turned out air got into the system somehow after some work was done. The pressure sensor went bonkers and the braking felt awful. Honestly, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop and have them properly bleed the brake system and check that sensor again. Vehicle safety is not something to play around with.

Thank you for confirming. The brake system was re-bled, and the pressure sensor replaced. The total repair cost was 90€. The error is now resolved.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my SLC. Reduced braking is scary. You mentioned incorrect bleeding, but did you check the sensor itself? They can be dodgy. What diagnostic tools did you use? I'm just a novice, but I'm trying to learn more about hydraulic brakes, so any details you can share would be great.
