SM3 Active Hood Fault

I've got a 2020 Renault SM3, electric engine, with about 119000 km on it. I'm getting an "Active hood fault" message on the computer, plus the airbag light is on, and there's an error logged. Looks like the spring actuators have been triggered. I’m thinking it might be the acceleration sensor. Anyone else seen this?

I have the same car and had a similar problem. Started with the same warning and airbag light. Did you notice anything else before the light came on?

No, nothing unusual before the warnings. It just came on suddenly. Was the acceleration sensor the problem for you, and what did you do about it?

Yes, it was the acceleration sensor. I tried fixing it myself, but I had to take it to a shop. They confirmed it quickly. I'd suggest doing the same.

Thanks for the advice. I'll book it in to get the acceleration sensor checked. Just so you know, it was the acceleration sensor and cost 315€ to fix.
