Thanks. Could you tell me more about the problems you had and if testing the sensor fixed it, or if you needed more diagnostics?

I didn't test the sensor myself. The symptoms were similar enough that I took it straight to a workshop. Turned out the camshaft sensor was faulty and needed replacement.

Got it. Your experience confirms what I suspected. Thanks for sharing. I had it checked, and you were right, it was the camshaft sensor. The total repair cost came to 695€. Thanks again for your help.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my SM3. The check engine light was on, and the car stalled a few times. Did you try testing the sensor?
