Can you provide more detail about which actuator I should be checking? Where is it, and what should I look for in terms of connection issues or defects? Was the error message the same?

I am no expert. I had the same problem. Cruise control error on the dash. The workshop guys said it was something with the plug. I'd suggest you just take it to a workshop and have them run diagnostics. You'll save yourself a headache.

I took my Renault SM3 to a mechanic. Diagnostics showed the cable or plug connection was defective, as suspected. The repair cost 95€, but the cruise control is working again.

I had a similar problem with my SM3. Check the actuator and the steering wheel controls. Could be a connection issue. Did you mess with the throttle body recently?
