SM3 Defrost Flap Fault
Summary of the thread
The conversation centers around a defrost air distribution flap fault in a 2014 Renault SM3, leading to low heating output. The suspected cause is a faulty cable or plug. A similar issue in a 2016 Opel Astra was resolved by addressing a dodgy connection in the climate control unit. The suggested solution is to have a workshop diagnose and repair the wiring issue, which was confirmed and repaired for 95€.

Checked the panel, nothing obvious. How did you finally fix the Astra's ventilation system?

Turned out to be a dodgy connection. Climate control unit was throwing codes. Best to check with a workshop to pinpoint the exact wiring issue.

Could be. Had similar on a 2016 Opel Astra. Air distribution was all messed up. Blower motor seemed fine. Did you check the dashboard panel for obstructions?
